VINEYARD CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP
The small congregation of
Vineyard Christian Fellowship didn’t have a place of its own to call home, and
met in a rented space of a local strip mall for worship. Looking to establish
their own roots, the church sought out the assistance of Powers Goolsby Architects
to help them create a foundation for growth.
After selecting a site in a rustic, rural location, a phased master plan was created with future needs in mind, allowing room for continued growth as the congregation expands. The first phase consisted of a 350 seat worship facility with adjacent administration offices and educational space reserved for classrooms and break-out activities. A café is linked to a spacious lobby, which provides congregation members an atmosphere for casual, relaxed fellowship. Future phases of the master plan include a 1,000 seat sanctuary, which will allow the current multipurpose worship space to function as a gymnasium and recreation center for youth fellowship.
